Apprentice or Journey Lineworker Job Description
Full-Time Position | Worthington, Minnesota
Nobles Cooperative Electric is looking for a dedicated Apprentice or Journey Lineworker to join our team in Worthington, Minnesota.
In this position, you'll help build, maintain, and repair the electric distribution system that keeps our members connected. From constructing and maintaining power lines to responding to outages and restoring service, you'll play an important role in providing safe, reliable electricity to our communities.
What You'll Do
- Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electric distribution facilities.
- Inspect power lines, poles, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
- Respond to power outages and assist with restoring electric service.
- Operate equipment safely and follow established safety procedures.
- Work as part of a team committed to quality workmanship and dependable service.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a power lineworker training program.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform the physical duties of a lineworker.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and serving our members.
